INDUSTRY TRAINING WEEK 9 - WEEK 12
WEEK 9
On week 9, more beading was done as well as touch ups. Whilst more garments are being produced, I had to attach more labeling to the garments. On that particular week, new abaya collections were shipped from China, those new pieces had to be double checked and made sure no alterations had to be made.

WEEK 11:
On week 11, I was given the task to record all the beadings and rhinestones used by the artisans as well as weighing them out.
trimming of the beaded flowers also had to be done in order to be able to apply them onto the garments.
Some days, there was a fitting which had to be carried out, so I had to make sure all the garments were hanged for the clients.
when layering of sheer fabrics onto a solid base had to be done, those pattern pieces were sent to the beading department so that we would hand tack the layers s of fabric in place, which will make it much more easier for the sewing department to actually mount the garment.
I was also given the task to choose the beading for a particular garment design, I did so by matching the crystals, beadings, and rhinestones to the fabric that were used for the garment.
I also did some touch ups for loose beadings.
